Ayla for the first time in years finally saw her brother, Jack face to face. Only her and Jack reuniting didn't go as well as she hoped. Instead of embracing her, he just sat there and looked at her with fear. Jack stuttered for a moment. "Songbird......what are you doing here? Where have you been?" He says in shock. Ayla looked back at him. "Looking for you........I just want to tell you......I accept you.....Jack", Ayla says nervously. "You.....accept me?" Jack replies. She nods. "But, I also have a question. The question is, do you accept me? Ayla" She asks placing her hand on her unbeaten heart. Jack looked at her frozen in fear. Ayla could hear his thoughts. "Something's wrong. This isn't my Songbird. Who is this? What is this? A shapeshifter? A trickster?" Ayla looked at him with blood tears flowing down her face. "I thought so", she says responding to his thoughts. She turns around and runs out of the throne room, down the stairs, and into the theatre room. She saw a poster, which made her more curious. An upcoming movie about Jack and Annie. She looked at the casting list and noticed her (former) name. However, she noticed a mere mortal has been cast to play her (as a human). "Did I come too late?' She wonders. Suddenly, Ayla began to feel a rage come over her. Pain and heartbreak grew inside her. The pain turned into hate. Ayla ran out of the theatre and out of the manor. "He replaced me? With a mortal girl?" She let out a blood curdling scream, ran, and dived into the water. The haunting words "This isn't my Songbird" stuck with her. The merfolk noticed her pain and anger. They followed her to her secret grotto that sit just above the water. Ayla explained what happened and that she felt betrayed. The merfolk then told her their idea. "You want me to be Queen of the Ocean?" Ayla wondered. The merfolk looked at her with hope. "Okay, I'll be your queen", she says with a sigh. A mermaid put a black crown that had a red pearl and a black crystal hanging down that fell between her eyebrows. She then had an idea. She gave herself a makeover and looked in her clam shaped mirror. She realized that Jack was right, fame does have it's price and she was going to pay for it. Ayla looked at her merpeople. "As your sea queen, I renounce the hopes and dreams of being the Princess of the Degenerates and Draconia. I will now declare myself .....The Wicked Vampire Witch of Draconia"
