Annie is more than just the love interest of the main character Jack, she is also the heart and soul of the Degenerate Kingdom. Like Wendylady in Neverland, she gives heart and hope to the monsters of a world not her own and reinstills faith in them that not all humans are bad. Annie is sweet, caring, clumsy, but she is also a keen investigator, brilliant mind, and dedicated ally to the vampire cause. While in New York she was a Reporter and rising author, while in Draconia she became the Human Queen to a Kingdom of Monsters. Not only has she opened the hearts and minds of the vampire Kingdoms, but she has also begun to heal the heart of the infamous Crimson King, the Vampire Jack Townson. She may be soft handed, however, Annie has no problem getting her hands dirty when the forces of evil raise their hideous heads.
