The Lord of Filth, the Corruptor, the Blasphemous, the Traitor of the Elves, the Shape Twister. Narok is known by many names, and none of them are kind. He rules over Zinphael, the City of Nightmares, with an iron grip. Once an Elven alchemist of great renown, Narok’s fall from grace is a tale whispered in dread. He was once a trusted guardian of his people until he betrayed them in the most vile of ways—allowing the vampire Mortificus to infiltrate their sacred city and slaughter their people, including their beloved Goddess Queen.
For his treachery, Narok was cursed alongside his sister. Stripped of his beauty and severed from the vibrant green fields and flourishing life he once cherished, he was forever barred from the world of flora and natural splendor. His punishment did not break him—it hardened him. Fueled by spite and an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, Narok turned to the darkest sciences and alchemy in a desperate attempt to undo his curse. But in time, he realized the very power that came with his affliction and sought to weaponize it.
With the fall of the elven kingdom, Narok seized the opportunity to carve out his own dominion amidst the ruins. He named it Zinphael, a blasphemous word in the elven tongue meaning "Betrayer." From this accursed city, he crowned himself its king—no, its god. In Zinphael, Narok began creating goblins in his twisted image, using his own corrupted blood to spawn an army of nightmare creatures. Alongside his sister, Zheroff, they built a kingdom of horror, a force that now shakes the very foundations of the world.
