The original Lord of Night. The genocidal vampire. The vampire King. In his mortal life, Trevalion was the lead Enforcer of the Draekon within their shining citadel. He was a fierce warrior, but ultimately, he was betrayed by Mortificus, his old friend, who transformed him into a vampire. Trevalion became one of the first vampires in creation, born of Mortificus’ fangs. After the great world war and Mortificus’ banishment, a void was left by their creator. Trevalion stepped into that void, claimed the title of Lord of Night, and went to great lengths to secure his position. With his seat of power nestled in the heart of the Expanse, Trevalion ruled not as a benevolent leader but as a ferocious tyrant. He forged a Court that he intended to lead in a second world war for full domination, just as his maker had done before him. However, during his preparations, members of his court were found slain during their feasts across the land. Enraged, Trevalion accelerated his plans and marched his forces of nightmare to wipe out any who opposed him and complete his hostile takeover. The Lord of Night met his end not only at the hands of his enemies but also by his closest allies. Members of his own Court rose against him, with Davidross leading the rebellion alongside Elric Valhirden, the Godking of Vrodik.
Trevalion is survived by his three progeny: Zuriel, Harkess, and Contessa.
